Reviews
Wow, what a great breakfast! Homemade cinnamon bread- all bread is homemade. The eggs were perfect. Huge portions at a reasonable price. Service was quick and nice. We will absolutely be back.
When you walk in you notice it is a small little place, however, this place is HARDCORE military, police and fire supporting place and after serving 14 years in the Navy it was VERY nice to see the presence everywhere you look. So we got seated and we had placed our orders and coffee. The coffee definitely hit the spot and it was so fresh and from what I understand was told that EVERYTHING is made homemade, nothing comes from a can. I ordered The Cowboy Killer & a half order of Biscuits & Gravy. This place has a lot of older people coming here so you definitely knew the food was gonna have to be good. So my Omelette showed up and it looked amazing, I think my eyes were hungrier than my stomach because it was ALOT of food. So the omelette comes with Jalapeños, ham, bacon, sausage, Swiss & American cheese smothered with homemade sausage gravy, on top of all that it's a 3 egg omelette. Usually when I order an omelette it's good like nothing new that I haven't tried but this omelette is the God to all other omelettes. The eggs were very fluffy, all the meat products were perfectly salted, the jalapeños had a good kick to them and the gravy, oh my, the gravy tasted homemade. The gravy tasted like fresh sausage with perfect spices and thickness. The eggs melted in your mouth with each and every bite. I haven't tasted gravy this good I don't think EVER (sorry Bob Evan's). Now let's get to the biscuits & gravy, so we already talked about the gravy now let's talk about these biscuits, it was VERY fresh, they didn't have that dry taste that most biscuits have when it sticks to the roof of your mouth when you eat them. They were fluffy and you could cut them with your fork. It was the BEST biscuits & gravy I have EVER had. Now let's move on to the bread, yes we are gonna talk about the side bread that it comes with, so they had a choice between white, wheat and cinnamon swirl, now kind you everything is made home made including the bread. I ordered the Cinnamon swirl and it was amazing, the maple syrup was delicious, the cinnamon was nice and layered and the bread was soft. I can say that this place is PHENOMENAL and I will definitely be coming back for breakfast and I would love to try their dinners.
Loved the breakfast that included some really wonderful fresh baked bread (toasted) and the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The building is functional, clean, well maintained, but it's holding them back. Greeted at the door we were seated right away. Our server got our drinks while we checked out the menu and took our orders right away because we were ready (my wife was getting hangry). The food was great! My wife asked for blueberry pancakes (not on the menu), and the delivered (chocolate chip pancakes also available) and she was very happy - so I was happy. I had the Hash Brown Supreme, and it was! The toast by itself is enough of a reason to come back, but everything was really good. You are supposed to pay on your way out, but our server took it at the table for us; I wouldn't have known any different, except I asked. Lots of parking and a country western theme, but it is the food and the service that makes them great!
My daughter recommended this place for breakfast and she was not playing. The amount of food we got for such a reasonable price was fantastic. I was craving pancakes, but the cinnamon french toast looked good, big I also felt I should have some protein. So I got The Bulldog and basically got all that and more! Giant pancakes, huge slices of cinnamon toast, eggs, bacon (really really good bacon), and hash browns - and I was stuffed before I even finished half of it. Hooray for leftovers!! The staff was friendly, and I always appreciate when I don't have to flag somebody down for more coffee. Extra points for the missing service member/POW display as you walk in - very touching and well-done.
Diner fare for breakfast. One waitress was slammed by numerous tables upon opening but did good managing it. Food came out fairly quick and was good. Try the cinnamon toast! Casual dining with Americana decor.
